Train Tales
Lisa Candelaria Bartlett is nominated for her first novel, Train Tales. She is an award-winning writer originally born in California. As a writer of mostly poetry, this was Mrs. Bartlett's first serious attempt at fiction. She is a retired singer and former management associate of a large well-known retailer; currently, she is a full-time law enforcement dispatcher. She lives in Pinehurst, Georgia, with her husband, Forrest, their son Adam, and Zsa Zsa, their 3 year old Maine Coon.
She has nearly completed her second novel, Brewer House, with a projected release date of summer, 2010.
